Ken’s engineering background, along with his father’s penchant for building some of the very earliest boat motors, led him to fill a void that existed in the stern drive industry. Until the Konrad 520 Stern Drive was introduced there was not a reliable stern drive for commercial operators. That’s the important niche that Konrad fills today, thanks to Ken’s efforts over the past decade.
